Training

Creative spaces for collaborative learning

In my training sessions, I work in a process-oriented way, with the experiences of the group and in joint reflection. Topics include: Theatre methodology for dialogue and conflict management, tools for communication in conflicts and strengthening resilience and improvisational skills. We playfully explore unfamiliar fields in a safe atmosphere and learn with and from each other.

Playful, participatory, and in dialogue

Theatre for dialogue and conflict resolution

In applied theatre, we can creatively express our visions. We bring our imagination and dreams to life and thus develop concrete steps towards non-violent solutions. I work methodically with playback theater and the theater of the oppressed.

Playback Theatre

  • Developing improvisation skills and artistic expression
  • Strengthening listening and empathy skills
  • Discovering your own stories (storytelling)
  • Broadening your own perspective(s)
  • Transforming painful experiences

Theater of the Oppressed

  • Dealing with personal and social conflicts through image theatre and forum theatre
  • Exploring inner conflicts and barriers through the method “rainbow of desire”
  • Initiating structural change through legislative theatre

Theatre is a form of knowledge; it should and can also be a means of transforming society. Theatre can help us build our future instead of just waiting for it.

Tools for Communication in Conflicts

Conflicts can consume a lot of our energy. At the same time, conflicts harbor wonderful potential. If we manage to deal with them constructively, they are the engines of change and development.

Possible training content

  • Basics of mediation and dialog
  • Questioning techniques and attitudes in conflict
  • Change of perspective as a key to potential solutions
  • Conflict analysis and dynamics
  • Dealing with strong emotions
  • Body language and own conflict experience

Strengthening resilience and improvisation

Do you know situations that make you nervous and worried at work? Do you experience fear of making mistakes as restrictive? Improvisation skills and humor can help us to face challenges in a more playful and relaxed way.

Improvisation as a resource

In a playful space, we find our hidden resources. We celebrate the joy of making mistakes and surprise ourselves with grotesque exaggerations. The joy of humorous discovery strengthens us in dealing with the unpredictable.

Creativity is intelligence having fun.
